At West A Tabernacle Baptist Church, we’re always excited to welcome new visitors. We hope you’ll join us for a service, and we want to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Here’s what you can expect when you come to our 10:00 a.m. service.
Our church is located at 1218 West A St., with parking available on either side of the church. If you have mobility restrictions or young children, feel free to use one of the spots closest to the door. We reserve these spaces for visitors and those who need assistance. The entrance is located in the rear of the sanctuary in front of the fellowship hall. Please note side doors are locked for security but can be used to exit the sanctuary.
Please don’t be concerned about what to wear to church—we believe wholeheartedly that everyone should come to God just as they are. Your attire does not determine your worth or acceptance; God’s grace comes through Jesus’ sacrifice. Our congregation embraces a wide variety of styles, from casual to formal, as each person has their own convictions. We simply ask that clothing be appropriate and respectful. Whether you prefer shorts or suits, you will be welcomed here.
When you arrive, one of our friendly ushers will be happy to assist you. They’re usually stationed at the doors and right inside the sanctuary. They’ll help you find the nursery, restrooms, and fellowship area. If you have any questions about the service, our ushers will be happy to help.
After the service, we invite you to stay for some fellowship and a chance to get to know us better. Feel free to introduce yourself to our pastor and anyone else you meet. We’d love to hear your story and share ours with you. We look forward to seeing you again next time!
